Dropdown Question

Could please consider creating an option to create a dropdown question in the new quiz?

This is the forum for answering questions about Canvas.  What you want is the idea and themes area where new ideas can be presented and hopefully /eventually incorporated into Canvas.

I'm a bit confused by your request.  Creating a drop-down question is entirely possible in New Quizzes.  Take a look at this Guide:

How do I create a Fill in the Blank question in Ne... - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com)

If, for example, your question was:

Roses are `red`, violets are `blue`

...your question in New Quizzes can be set up so that you can set up drop-downs for "red" and "blue", and also add distractors.  Here's a screenshot from my own sandbox course:

So, you can have just one drop-down wherever you want...or you can have multiple drop-downs wherever you want, too.
