Editing access to allow groups to view different modules

I am an instructor and am wanting to edit the access of modules to allow different groups of students to view specific modules. I am aware that I can create groups for different assignments, but not modules.

The short answer is "No, you can't do that."

Every student can see every published module. You cannot set up modules for selected groups of students. It's not possible.
