Embedding a Link in a Class Announcement

Hi: I am sending my class an announcement. I would like to embed a link to a questionnaire that I developed in google. When I insert the link it does not seem to work.

Good evening,  @pmb2103  Thank You for posting your question.  Sorry to read that you are having troubles with link you want to include in a course announcement.  To be certain, are you following the instructions included in this Guide?  https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10305-4152719751  If you could maybe explain the steps you are taking to include this link in your announcement, that might help, too.

LOL, I just realized that my question is about messages instead of announcements, however, @Chris_Hofer it seems that the link in this solution is broken, just FYI.

Hi @lynchj12 ...

There are two possibilities as to why the link in my above response no longer works...

• The Canvas Community switched platforms last Summer, and as a result some links didn't re-direct properly...which may be the case for this one.
• The link I provided points to a Guide that no longer exists any more in the Community.  I'm not able to tell exactly which document I would have linked to in that response...since that was over a year ago.

With these things in mind, did you have a specific question I could try to answer for you about messages in Canvas?
