Equation editor output is not visible (in quizzes) when saved.

Hi – As of yesterday evening, the output of the equation editor (mathjax) is not visible once I save, as illustrated in the screen shots below.

The good news is that once the quiz is published, the students can see the math. But the fact that the output disappears when saving makes editing (especially choosing what needs editing) a bit irksome. 

Any ideas?

The Math Editor can be used for basic mathematical formatting for introductory. Discussions, Pages, and Quizzes, you have the option to Save & Publish.

Very irksome. I see equations in the RTE and in Preview. I do not see equations when looking at a question in a question bank.
