I have a course that often needs to export their rubrics for review. Since there isn't a built-in feature to export rubrics as a document or CSV, I came up with a workaround. I just wanted to know if there were plans to add an export feature in the future. Does anyone know anything about that?

I think there may be good news for you here. With the Enhanced Rubrics feature option currently in preview, rubrics can be downloaded as CSV or XML (not exactly a word doc, but may work for your purposes). This was added back in November 2024 and there is a blurb about it on the Enhanced Rubrics: Release Change Log - Instructure Community - 611914 page.
