I cannot get the fill in the blank questions to work. It keeps saying I need a blank. I have tried using the backticks, brackets, and _____. What am I doing wrong??

Here are the links to how to create fill in the blank questions for classic quizzes and for new quizzes.

Hi there, @Cheri_Hamilton ...

It looks like you're not using the proper character (backticks) for your fill-in-the-blank question.  You are using the single quotes (to the left of your "Enter" key on your keyboard).  The backticks character is located just to the left of the number 1 key at the top left of your keyboard.  Here is some information on that character.

` (Back Tick) (symbols.com)

Notice how the backtick character is diagonal in shape...compared to the single quote which is vertical.

Instead of:

'Indian Removal Act'

Use this:

`Indian Removal Act`

Hope this helps!
