How do I make visible to students the total number of points they have earned?

Hi! If you have enabled the option for students to view totals, they'll see the category breakdown in Grades.

By default, students should be able to see this, but you can also double-check this in Course Settings.  How do I hide totals in my students' grade summari... - Instructure Community

When I made the attendance column in the gradebook hidden from student view, this action also made the total points/percentage earned hidden from view also. Once I returned the attendance points column visible again, the total points/percentage earned were once again visible to students. I hope this helps!
