I have a bunch of assignments that don't have a submission tied to them. They're participation grades for the live course. I've been marking them each week. But I just realized that these are not showing up in student grade totals. Why???
I have them down as assignments just with no submission required. They're in each week's module. Assignments are set to be 100% of the grade. I don't understand what I've done wrong here and I'm having trouble searching for the solution.
Solved! Go to Solution.
I solved it! It's so dumb that I'm a bit embarrassed. I went through changing a million settings.
Because there was nothing to turn in, I didn't attach a deadline. Once I applied due dates to everything, it populated in the gradebook and applied to every student's grades. Finally.
Hi @Farraragain,
Do you see the assignments in your teacher view of the gradebook? I'm trying to figure out if it's just students who are not seeing them or if it's your view too. One thing that comes to mind would be whether the assignments are published or not, as I believe students don't usually see unpublished assignments in their grades area.
We look forward to hearing back from you with more information!
