Group set limited to 200 groups?

Is there any way to create a set of more than 200 groups in the group set mechanism?  I have 799 physics lab students that need to form into groups of four students, limited to the same lab section, and, unfortunately, some students form groups of 2 or 3, even though they are supposed to be in groups of 4.  So I effectively need about 220 groups, but the group set mechanism defaults to 200 groups maximum.  Can my sys admin change that default number?

I have a workaround figured out but it will make a lot more work for the lab GTAs and especially a lot more work for me to wrangle all the grades for each lab.

Of course it is possible to change.  200 is not some random number.  Somebody coded it at 200.  They just won't change it.  They NEVER modify or fix anything.  It's Canvas' way or the highway.
