Help! I assigned a student a make up test but my other students' grades are nowhere to be found!

Can anyone help me? I gave my students a quiz on canvas. They completed it and it was graded. Another one of my student's was absent and needed to take the quiz. I reassigned it to him in Canvas. He took the quiz and got a grade, but now the grades for all my other students are gone! Does anyone know how I can retrieve those other quiz scores?

When you assigned the quiz to the one student, you deleted everyone else.  To fix it, you add everyone else back.  Here's how you do that:

1. Go to Canvas and edit the exam.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page, to the "Assign" section.
3. Click the "Add" button at the bottom of the page.
4. Click in the "Assign to" box and then select "Everyone"
5. Set the "Due" date.
6. Click the "Save" button.

The scores for all the other students should show back up in Speedgrader and in the Gradebook.

In the future when you want to set a different due date for one student, follow the same steps above, but instead of clicking on "Everyone” in step 4, you'll click on the name of the student that needs a different due date.
