Hide Units Inside Modules

Hi all,

Is it possible to hide a certain unit inside a module?

For example, we have a student in our college already had credits transferred to Module 1 Unit 1, how can we hide this Unit 1 while allocating Module 1 to her?

Can you clarify what you mean by a "unit"?  Is it an assignment, or a page, or is it just a text header that's used to organize the content within the module?

Assignments, for instance, can be assigned to only specific students or sections, and the ones to whom it is not assigned to not see it listed in the module.  For other types of content, it can be harder to show to only specific students.

Yes, the unit is a text header that's used to organize the content within the module.

Please see attached screenshot 1 & 2. We have 2 units in Module section. As some students finished their Unit 1 in previous study, is there a way for us to 'hide' it from them? So that they can focus on Unit 2.

Hi @MaggieZhou 

In your screenshot, it looks like "Unit 1..." and "Unit 2..." are actually modules.

The rules concerning the visibility of modules are mostly around making the module visible when the student has met certain requirements.  There's not really a way of hiding the module specifically for a certain student, unless you do something like setting another module as a prerequisite for that module, and setting requirements on the "prerequisite" module that only the one student will not meet.
