Hi @CatherineBacon,
In order to help you both now and in the future, I am going to provide you with links to three different guides in the Canvas Community. This means the process might seem longer.
- How do I upload a file in Files? (make sure that you go into your course and then into the "Files" area of the course)
- How do I create a new page in a course?
- How do I link to a document from Canvas in the Rich Content Editor? (make sure that you access "Course Documents" and not "User Documents")
When doing step #3, review the "View Link" and "View Link Options" sections for guidance on how to configure the "Display Options" so that you can see the document inside of Canvas without downloading the file.
The What types of files can I preview in Canvas? guide provides a list of files formats that are capable of being displayed by the Canvas DocViewer.
Did you find that helpful or do you still have more questions?
