When I try to enter grades I can no longer utilize my cursor to move from student to student because a box with auto suggestions pops up. Using the cursor simply moves me through the suggestions rather than to the next student. This has significantly slowed down my ability to enter grades and is very distracting. Is there a way to turn this off? Thank you!

Hi @RachelSpivey ,
I don't see any auto-suggestions in the grade book in my courses. Perhaps what you're seeing is a browser setting, rather than something that is coming from Canvas? What web browser are you using?
Hello, @RachelSpivey !
Thanks for posting on the Instructure Community.
This appears to be a browser setting, as mentioned by @mzimmerman .
This would likely be a setting within your web browser settings, likely called predictive text. I recommend researching how to turn this option off on whichever web browser you use canvas on, and once disabled you shouldn't have any issues in your gradebook.
Hope this helps! Feel free to reach out with any questions!

You are absolutely right @mzimmerman. It was related to the auto fill feature for addresses in Chrome. As soon as I turned that off it worked.
Can you tell me where this setting is in chrome?
