In earlier versions of canvas i could upload an mp3 file in pages or in assignments, and the students could just right-click the file and download it. That doesn't work anymore for some reason. Does anybody know how to solve this?
Solved! Go to Solution.
I just took a swing at it and it seems that every method I tried embedded the audio. Th only solution I can think of is to add the audio via Files and then copy the location url that can then be hyperlinked within the page. That is not ideal though, so I might recommend putting in a feature idea to get a better solution going.

I had the same experience. For images, it's possible to change from an image embed to a link, but I couldn't find a similar option for audio files. This seems like a good candidate for a feature idea to me as well.
