How can I synch Multiple Calendars for ALL Courses?

This request is to allow additional classes to be shown in the calendar view OR at least be able to synch up with ALL calendars to an external calendar OR be able to save default views on calendar (so we are not having to scroll thru and unselect/select each time we are moving course clusters/calendar views).  Right now, with a cap of only 10, it is NOT possible to have the calendar show all classes being taken or observed. I currently have 16 consecutive calendars, and cannot effectively see them together, or at least have them synch out to a third party calendar that can allow several calendars. To have a complete picture of the schedule from one week to the next, we need to ability to view at least 20 courses on the calendar at a time OR synch up to ALL calendars to an external calendar, AND/OR have saved default view calendars that would save clusters of courses together and be easily able to switch from one to another. This is also useful when building the course calendar, so that there is not a constant need to change which courses are selected to be visible. Having this option will not increase clutter for anyone (because they can choose to select only the number of calendars they want to see), and will greatly increase usability for those who need to see additional calendars.

@bara Do you have a Google Education account or Outlook? If not, there is also the ability to get an iCal feed that is supposed to be able to sync to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, and Yahoo Calendar. Have you tried those options for syncing to an external calendar?

As for changes to the Calendar in Canvas, I think you share some good ideas. I would recommend adding those to the Canvas Ideas section of the community so that they can get to the product teams.

@james_whalley  - The synch only works for 10 calendars max, so basically I cannot synch all calendars I have access to. I can only synch up to 10 currently.

@bara I do now see that listed as a limit. What happens if you enable 10, get the feed, and then repeast with a different set enabled? Does the second overwrite the first?

@james_whalley - correct, it doesn’t change. The URL remains the same. You cannot export more than 10.

Hello @bara ...

When new users join the Canvas Community, they are given the rank of "Community Novice".  But, in order to "rank up" (similar to leveling up in video games and board games), you need to do a few simple things in order to get to "Community Member".  The initial "Community Novice" rank does have some limitations, but it's quite easy to "rank up".

I see that you currently do have "Community Member" status, so you should be able to submit a new idea.  But, please know that the entire idea process is going through some changes at the moment.  So, I can provide you some resources for the time being:
