Thank you for contacting the Instructure Community. This largely depends on your device and browser. Which browser are you using? You should be able to enable camera and microphone by going to settings and likely "security" after that. Most browsers have similar basic functionality. Other users in the Canvas Forum have asked the same thing hopefully this helps:

If that doesn't, you'll want to try googling the answer by including your browser in the question. Or you can contact your school IT help desk directly.
You'll probably do something like this in Chrome:
