How do I allow a student to re-take a test?

A Student's test on Canvas closed for that Student (for whatever reason) before that Student could finish the whole thing, that is, all of the required questions.  So, . . . :

How do I allow that Student to re-take the whole test all over again?

Is it as simple as just going into Grades and deleting the grade which was entered for that Student by Canvas?

If not, then how?

1. Go to Assignments (or Quizzes).
2. Open the exam/quiz you wish to modify.
3. At the bottom of the page, choose Build.
4. At the very top of the page that opens, click on Moderate.
5. This will bring you to a page with students’ names along with information on their quiz/exam.
6. Click the pencil/edit button.
7. Give an Additional Attempt.
   1. Note: This is also where you will set up accommodations by giving a specific student extra time or attempts for the assignment. (I see a new option: Reduced answer choices.)
8. Click Apply.
