How do I view past class grades in previous semesters?

Hello,

I wanted to know if Canvas as a tool used at my school has the capability to archive/record the grades of a previous semester and for how long. I've been using canvas since I started my undergraduate studies and there is a specific class I wish to view to fix a transcript error.

Any help or insight is appreciated.

Thanks for posting this in the Canvas Community! 

Sorry to hear you're having issues with your grades from previous courses. 

Every school uses Canvas in different ways and this is especially true when it comes to your enrollments and how long they will show in Canvas for previous courses you have taken over time. The best place to start would be to talk with your student advisor. If you need to challenge a grade you got in a course to correct a transcript error, they should be able to look into it and figure out the best course of action is for you.  

I apologize that there is not a Yes or No answer to this. Without going into too much unnecessary details, if you can no longer view the grades from your previous courses, your schools Canvas team can take a look at your grades in that previous course and try to investigate further.
