How do you disable an existing LTI, so the configurations do not get overlaid after a prod clone?

Our institution is currently migrating to Canvas.  In so doing, we are configuring multiple LTI's in our test environment however test gets overlaid once a month by production.   Is there a way to disable the LTI's in the test environment?  If not, how you handling testing of LTI configuration changes?  Our concern is, if we test in our test environment before setting the configurations back, after a production clone, that could very well cause unforeseen issues.
