My professor wants all submissions to be Times New Roman, 12pt font, and double-spaced. I type my answers out on a word doc and copy and paste it into the "Text Entry" section of the answer box for assignments.
The problem is that when I paste my answer, it reverts the spacing back to single or 1.5. Is there any way to change the spacing back to double-spaced through the "Text Entry"?
Hi @KAYLASANCADA,
The simple answer to this is that there is not an easy way to make the text entry answers have double spacing. If your teacher requires double spacing, they should usually allow a file upload where you could attach your word file instead of trying to cut and paste. Double spacing isn't something generally used on the web, which is why the textbox doesn't have options for it, and hopefully your teacher will understad that. There are ways to get double spacing by editing the HTML code after pasting, but it's not really something I'd point most students to.
Hope this helps!
