How to change default so Modules post to TOP of feed?

I noticed this was posted already, but archived in 2020:

Every time I create a new Module I have to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page (which already is ridiculous: at least bring me to where my new Module is... since it's obvious that I'm going to immediately use it!) 

Once I scroll down I have to:

• Click on the 3 dots:

• Click on Move Module:

• Click the Move button:

Surely you can agree that these are way too many steps to have to do every time you need a new Module!

Now if the answer to this is "Modules are supposed to go down sequentially, not up", then that person has never taught a semester-long course using Canvas. Halfway through the semester Canvas requires students to scroll way down just to get to the latest content!

Imagine if you had to scroll all the way down from the very top of your emails EVERY SINGLE TIME you checked your email... or your texts... or Slack, or Discord, or anything really!

I understand the issue, as until last year I was doing modules the same way.

Since then, I have started setting a Page as the home page, and there I can set links to the individual modules. Just a bit more work on my end (the first time I prepared a template), but it makes it easier for students to move around specific modules, and also allows me to use features like the module prerequisites.

Alternatively, since module creation is available through the API (with position as an option), a button to make a new module at the top of the page could be added with a userscript.

I hear your frustration.  Modules are a great resource and this design is intentional to aid those who the mastery path feature to send students sequentially through the modules.  In our instance, we ask our teachers to have a homepage students visit first that has helpful information and links to the units of study.  We are a K12 group so we have to consider other parties who may need to visit the Canvas pages to assist students, so this consistent format aids those adult helpers to know how to navigate each Canvas page their student works with.
