Hello! I'm trying to help an instructor make his materials accessible. He teaches math and statistics, and uses Latex, tables, and images of formulas in his materials. He's trying to make these things accessible for students using screen readers and other types of tools. I've searched the community and have not found any solutions.
Do you have recommendations for making statistical tables (such as very long tables of probabilities, etc.) accessible? Also, does anyone have recommendations for making formulas screen-reader friendly? We have the Ally tool but have not rolled it out to the whole institution. I turned it on for his course, so he has access to its features, but when we ran it on a pdf with formulas, it got stuck.
Thankful for any insights here. I know there must be other math and stats courses with similar needs, so let's start the conversation. Cheers!
