How to post grades on a certain date?

Hi all,

I want to enter grades into the Gradebook now and have them release on a set date and time. Someone asked this question in 2020 in this post (https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Archived-Questions/ARCHIVED-How-do-I-release-grades-on-a-specific...) and this feature was requested in the Community Forum (and upvoted several times), but I can’t find a solution. Has this functionality been added yet?

Hi @KateB3,

The info in the thread you linked is still valid today.  You can definitely do your grading today without students seeing it, but you do still need to go in and post the results yourself at this point (no date/time auto posting).

Our school would also like to have the option of scheduling grades to be posted on a specific date. When teachers set up an assignment, they should be provided that option so it's one less thing to remember to do.
