I have three courses that are currently merged into one. They all take the same quizzes and tests. The problem I'm running into is I need data for each individual class. I can see the data (percent correct) for each question, but that is based on all 3 classes merged together. How can I get the data for each class separately? This way I can see which individual class needs help with each topic.

Hello,
Which Canvas Quiz tool are you using? Classic or New Quizzes?
If you are using Classic Quizzes go to the quiz and on the right hand side select Quiz Statistics. On the right hand side you should see a filter option called Section Filter.
If you are using New Quizzes unfortunately there is no option for that yet. Hopefully when exporting data becomes available Instructure can include filtering by sections.

Thank you for your response, but please excuse my ignorance as Canvas is new to me this school year. How do I know which Quiz tool I'm using? When I go to Quizzes to create a new one, there is no option for me to choose what type of quiz it is.
For the quizzes that have already been created and taken by students, I see two options under "Reports", "Quiz and Item Analysis" and "Quiz and Item Analysis (old)".
Hi there, @MichaelTA ...
You can determine if you are using Classic Quizzes or New Quizzes by checking out these video tutorials:
Hope this helps!
Based on the reports you mentioned, it sounds like you are using New Quizzes.
Thank you to all that have replied. Even though I am not prompted to pick which type of quiz to create when I start, I was able to determine that we are in fact being defaulted to New Quizzes. Hopefully the reports I need will be available sometime in the near future.
