Ignoring a null section when passing grades to Banner

We're currently using the Intelligent Learning Platform / Banner to pass back final grades.  In courses without manual sections it is working however we encountered an issue with courses that have manual sections created (for accommodations).  These have no Course SIS ID entered for them and are just for administrative purposes. 

Is there a way in banner to ignore null sections? it gives a null error for each section that has students enrolled because their grades were copied into the main section gradebook for their final grade.
