Generally speaking, there should not be any kind of lag between when an instructor inputs grades and when a student would see said grades in his/her Gradebook within Canvas. The only scenario I could see is where an instructor is deliberately hiding grades from students for one or more assignments and then chooses to release grades for those assignments at a time of his/her choosing. I wouldn't really call that lag, though...as this is the instructor's decision and not lag in the sense that inputted grades wouldn't appear for students. It might be that your instructor doesn't have your course Gradebook set up correctly...or that assignments are not weighted correctly. That's not anything we can help troubleshoot, however, because we don't have access to your course or anything within your school's Canvas environment. I'd suggest reaching out to your instructor once again to review your grade...as it's possible that there's something on the instructor's side that might need to be changed.
