So, the Instructure team has come through with an awesome "fix" to a perennial problem. For years, I have been frustrated by how modules are published. Every time I imported old course material into a new course shell, I would have to click on every single item to unpublish it. I likened this process to "death by a thousand clicks."
Well, Instructure has come up with an awesome solution. Now we can:
I tried it out, and it works! Well done! I am most pleased!

Now, my next great hope is that Instructure will do something with more options in Settings. Yes, "more options" in tiny blue letters! Who can find it?
Not for me. If I choose Unpublish all modules and items, all the modules are unpublished, but if I expand the modules, I see many items within that are published.
@mprogers ...
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to reproduce this within in my own Canvas sandbox course. When I selected the option to "Unpublish module and all items", everything unpublished...the module and all the items in it. I even tried collapsing a module first, then unpublishing everything in it, and it still worked. Are there any items in your module that have submissions from your students? If that was the case, those items might not be able to be unpublished any more. Just a thought...for what it's worth.
