Integrating Pearson Access while using a Blueprint course

Our institution is using Pearson Access (MyLab LTI 1.1) 

we can set a coordinator course with the Pearson platform to push material to other courses on that platform which then sync to Canvas courses. We also want to use a Canvas blueprint to push other material to our canvas courses. The issue is that we now have two sources pushing to our live courses and our blueprint doesn't contain the Pearson material. With MyOpenMath we set up the LTI in the blueprint course and everything worked.

So my question is if we linked our person course just to a canvas blueprint (and not directly to our live courses) would that work. For Pearson this would obviously be an 'off label' approach so we haven't been able to find answer.
