Is it possible to integrate Qualtrics into Canvas, while allowing Qualtrics access to the Canvas users information?

Sorry if the subject is potentially confusing. Essentially what I am looking to do is integrate Qualtrics surveys as assignments in a Canvas course, which I have already done, but have Canvas share the users name or some kind of identifier with Qualtrics so we don't have to include a name or ID number field. It seems like this is a feature of the Qualtrics LTI integration, but this is not currently available through my university, and I am not sure if it would be worth it to purchase it if there was a way to do this without it. Thanks!!
