Is there a way to view calendar to-do items in a calendar feed or via the parent app?

Currently, Canvas calendar feeds do not include to-do's. It makes no sense why a student's event added to a calendar would be considered a separate type of entry. The simplest fix is student added calendar events should be the same as any other calendar events and added to the calendar feed for a parent to view from their calendar app or via the canvas parent app.

I do not see any way for a parent to view a student's upcoming assignments, quizzes, or tests without the teacher adding them to the calendar. Does anyone know a way around this?
