How do I add my course chat to my class? Settings don't show on the side either

Hi,  @escotosm7912  Welcome to the Canvas Community! If your instructor has enabled Chat in their course, it will automatically display in the course navigation menu—so if you don't see it, please contact them directly for more information (How do I send a message to a user in a course in the Inbox as a student?‌).
