Join Code not valid

My students can't sign up for my course with the join code. They are getting a message the join code is invalid. Please advise.

Hello @StephanieHarvey 

Just for clarification, is your course configured for Self enrollment with a join code? Or are the students using your schools enrollment services to user the join code? 

If the join code is being used outside of Canvas, you would most likely want to speak with your enrollments department about the join code they are providing students. 

If self enrollment is enabled in the course, are they putting in the join code when they create their canvas account?

This topic isn't actually resolved. The "Find School" option doesn't work.  What do we do when the code keeps reading as invalid even when there are no restrictions. 

For clarification, I do have self-enrollment enabled.
