Labels for main Outcomes groups are blank

For some reason, the main Outcomes groups under which our sub-Outcomes groups live have no labels and are blank. A drop-down arrow exists and if you click them, the sub-groups do have labels -- but many instructors won't think to click the first drop-down if it's blank. You also have to click around to know which blank drop-down is going to reveal the sub-Outcomes you're looking for. I've attached a couple images to show what this looks like. Sometimes the blank main Outcomes group drop-down contains no sub-groups, but without a title there's no way to know where these came from. 

Even as an account admin, I'm not able to edit the main groups in order to add a name -- at least not in the Outcomes tab. Is there a way to do this elsewhere, and/or a reason the main groups are blank in the first place?

Thank you for contacting the Canvas Community. We're sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with blank  Outcomes. Thank you for providing the screenshot. That is abnormal for sure. It is possible the title is a "  " spacebar of text or (less likely) white text. However, if you click on it you should have an option to edit these titles as shows here in this guide:

If you  still have blank labels after this, you'd want to speak with Canvas. Because of the complexity of the issue, and the concerns for privacy, it would be best if you contacted Canvas Support directly to pinpoint the source of the issue and provide a resolution:
