As the house substitute for a high school that uses Canvas, I am given modules to teach to the students everyday. The problem is that I spend a lot of time searching for answer keys and the teachers edition.
It would be great if you could install links to the answer keys that correspond with each module/assignment.
I know this would also help teachers when they are preparing for upcoming lessons.
Obviously, these links have to live outside of the 'student view' but you're engineers, you'll figure out something amazing!
🙂
Also, a navigation dropdown menu in the same place for all the pages/assignments within the module would be nice. If I'm on 2.2.1 and I want to go to 2.2.8, I have to click next seven times!!!!
Thank you, we appreciate you!!!!

Hello @NickHughes,
I provide this reply with the understanding that you are a substitute and not able to create/design much of anything in Canvas or in specific courses.
For the first aspect (the answer keys), you will need to submit this as an idea and I would encourage you to head over to Canvas Ideas. You can refer to https://community.canvaslms
You may also want to review It’s Time for Your Feedback on the Future of Ideas & Themes (2024-10-18) and Thank You for Your Feedback on Ideas and Themes (2024-11-21) for information about how the Ideas / Themes process will be changing in the future.
You also asked about a dropdown menu to move from one section (for example: 2.2.1) to another section (for example: 2.2.8). Technically speaking, that is something that can be done in a variety of but is based on the preferences of the teacher/designer of the course.
The easiest way (in my opinion and without purchasing additional design tools) is to create a form of "table of contents" at the top of each page. That "table of contents" could be concealed (only visible if desired) within an accordion menu. Sean Nufer has some guidance on how to create accordions in Canvas.
