Linking to a module item

I often need to link to an item WITHIN a module. I can easily link to the module, but I cannot link specifically to an item WITHIN the module.
I highlight the text I want to link, I click on the LINK icon and select COURSE, and I get a list. Modules appear and it lists the modules but not the items within the modules. Is there a way I can link to a specific item WITHIN a module?
The only work around I can find is to navigate to the item in the module, then copy the link from the browser, and then establish it as an EXTERNAL link. I've tested this and it does work. But I'd prefer to use a COURSE link.
Is this just not possible?

Hi @kackoff ...
You're almost there...just not clicking on the exact right thing. When you are editing your page:
- Highlight the text you want to make as a link.
- Select the "Links" icon from the RCE, and then choose "Course Link".
- When the slide-out panel appears on the right side of your screen, instead of selecting "Modules", you want to be selecting from one of the following (depending on the type of content you are linking to): "Pages", "Assignments", "Quizzes", "Announcements", or "Discussion".
- Find the item within one of those areas to create your link
When you choose the "Modules" option, you can only link to the module as a whole...not something within the module. But, let's say that you have a content page within one of your modules. Then, you would select "Pages" because that is what the content type is. Similarly, if you had an assignment in your module, you'd choose "Assignments" to find that item.

I hope this will be helpful to you. Sing out if you have any questions about this...thanks!
