Make an assignments "no points" option.

Why can't Canvas fix it so that assignments don't require points? An incomplete/complete assignment with feedback, but no points should be possible. Like, now. Frustrated!

Generally speaking, assignments in Canvas are set up so that the grade for an assignment can be used as part of the total grade calculation, which means that it needs to have a numeric score or a percentage attached to it.

However, after the upcoming Sept. 16 update, you will at least be able to avoid showing that information to students, using the "Restrict View of Quantitative Data" option.  See https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Canvas-Releases/Canvas-Release-Notes-2023-09-16/ta-p/577167#toc-h...
