Mass due dates per module

I teach a self paced course. Is there a way to mass assign due dates per module? This needs to be added!! 

I understand the bulk edit where you can adjust by # of days but that doesn't help me. Can bulk edit have an added feature to assign an actual date?

It sounds like you aren't using the "Edit Assignment Dates" screen available within the "Assignments" index page of your course.  Click on the "Assignments" course navigation button on the left side of your screen, and then click on the three-dot kebab icon at the top right corner of your screen (just to the right of the "+ Assignment" button).  Then, select "Edit Assignment Dates".  On the screen that appears, you'll be able to input due dates for all your assignments.  You'll just need to keep track of which assignments are in each module...unless you have a naming convention on your assignment names that tell you which module each assignment is in.

No, this doesn't answer the question. The edit assignment dates page is only marginally helpful and brings up hundreds of assignments without a filter. We need to change dates for all assignments in a module.

The "Modules" screen is really used as a place to build out the structure of your course...adding things like Pages, Discussions, Assignments, and Quizzes.  If you use the "Edit Assignment Dates" screen to bulk edit assignment due dates, any of your assignments that are already within your "Modules" page will be updated with the due date you set.  So, while I understand why you'd want to update per module, I'm not sure it's totally necessary since you have access to edit all the dates via the "Assignments" index page.  I hope this helps to clarify how things work in Canvas "Modules" and "Assignments".

Jennie Is right- In the course I am in it bring up everything that has been published by the company I work for. Things often are not in numerical order. It is very tedious to pick through which need a date when it would be much easier to add a due date to an entire folder(module) at a time.

Thank you for replying.  And I totally understand what you are saying.  However, as I had mentioned earlier, the "Modules" page of a Canvas course is really meant as a tool to help you build out the layout of your course.  Currently, the way to edit dates in bulk is via the "Assignments" screen.  You could certainly name your assignments in a way that would organize them by module.  For example, you might have something like:

• Module 1: {assignment name A}
• Module 1: {assignment name B}
• Module 2: {assignment name A}
• Module 2: {assignment name B}
• etc.

Also, I searched the Community to see if there were any existing ideas that have already been submitted by other Community members.  I found the following:

I agree this is a much needed feature. We need to be able to assign modules. I want to be able to click on a module and make everything in that module due by a certain date. And yes, I am aware of the Batch Edit in Assignment Dates. I get how to use that but that's not what I want and it's not convenient enough. Make whole modules assignable with a due date please!!
