We are using Canvas LMS for our district's virtual academy. Many teachers use the prerequisites as part of their modules to ensure that students are completing all of the parts of the class. However, sometimes they get students part way through the year or students who change from in-person to virtual. They do not want to make those students do all of the prerequisites.
Is there a way to allow some students to skip some of the modules of a course even when they are given as prerequisites?

Hi @EYSD_TIS,
One possibility for this, while not ideal if using a course shell from year-to-year, is to turn off a module's prerequisites after it is known that all current active students have met the requirements.
I do not believe there is a currently a way to do it in a programmed/automated way.
