I don't believe you can restrict the viewing of a specific module, but you may want to explore the use of Mastery Paths. Here's a quick into to it: Mastery Paths (Instructors)

It is not possible to do that at this time.  All you could do would be put content in the module that is restricted to the specific students.  of course that content would be limited as to what it would be(I am thinking of assignments and quizzes - not sure about other items)

The downside to that is that all students see the module which is what you are trying to avoid.
