Multi-Course Announcements

I wanted to title this "Global Announcements," but apparently that is already the name of a feature for Admins. I'm wondering if there is a way for high school teachers to send an Announcement to all class periods instead of having to post an Announcement for each course. Our SIS generates separate courses (rather than sections) for each class period, so teachers already are having to Copy to... constantly. I realize that cross-listing would eliminate some of these issues, but it creates its own set of issues.

Is there a way for a non-Admin to send an Announcement to multiple courses besides having to Copy it to each course?

If I recall correctly from previous posts along this line, I believe that this is not possible.

I do not use announcements, so I do not know for sure.

If it is possible, it should be noted in that page.

I did find the How do I copy an announcement to a course which is what you mentioned they are currently doing.

There is also Announcements Redesign which I thought might have what you want, but it also just shows the copy to feature

Here is the feature idea request about announcements to all courses - you will probably want to upvote it (click on 5 starts) and then go to the other and do the same.  Not sure when this will be done as the original request was written in 2016.
