Greetings,
Most of our users are based outside of the US. We are trying to have people set up multi-factor authentication (some of whom are not very tech savvy and I fear the QR process will confuse and frustrate them.) However, I notice when I put in my own phone number from another country and then need to add my carrier, the only carriers listed are US carriers. How can we get our non-US users using MfA?
Hi @mlake,
As of the July 17 deploy update, international users should not see the SMS option for MfA, as it has always only been US-only numbers as far as I'm aware. You'd probably need to train your users on using authenticator apps with the QR code if you want MfA and don't think your userbase is familiar with those kinds of apps right now.
I hope this info helps, even if it's not exactly what you were hoping to hear.
-Chris
