Multiple Instructors - Dashboard

Hi, I co-teach a couple of university classes. We split up the grading and so my "to do" list on my dashboard is constantly flooded. I am wondering, if I "ignore" the notification on my Dashboard (i.e., click the 'X'), will that also remove it from my co-instructor's list?

I don't believe that if you click the "x" that it will remove it from your co-instructor's list.  One way to test this for sure is to log in to your school's "test" environment.  Normally, you work within your school's "production" environment, but there is a separate "test" environment where you can do all kinds of testing of things in Canvas without affecting anything in the "production" environment.  Just make sure to log out of the "test" environment before returning to your "production" environment.  So, you and your co-instructor can log into the "test" environment, test out the functionality you are asking about, and then if it works the way you want, you can then repeat the process in the "production" environment.  Here are a few links for you to look at:
