My Canvas shows nothing on the desktop app, but shows all the courses on the mobile app

pretty much the title. I'm logged into the same account, and I have my mobile app pulled up. the courses are for sure published. the courses are also for sure posting work- I can see all of it in my mobile app.

Hello @WyattBequette!

There can be a few things that could cause this to happen that might be worth checking!

  1. On your computer log into Canvas like you normally would, click "Courses" button on the top left of your screen, then click "All Courses" at the top of the slide-out and you will be taken to a page that shows all the courses you are enrolled in. On this page you will want to click the "Star" icon to the right and it will add that course to your dashboard. If they appear under "Future Enrollments" then the course has not yet started even though you might still have access once it starts they will be available at that point on your dashboard. 
  2. Your dashboard may be in a different view than "Card View" which means on your "Dashboard" on the top right you will see 3 dots and can select "Card View" instead of the other options. 
  3. If the above is not working I'd go ahead and clear cache as that can sometimes cause problems. To clear your cache on your specific browser you can follow the guide below How do I clear my browser cache and cookies? 
  4. If none of the above are working than its highly probable you are logged into a different Canvas account on your computer (each school/university has a very unique URL to access Canvas) and you may need to log in through another URL.
