My course is published but doesn't show up for new users, only previously enrolled users

When I try to add new users, I get a message that says "invitations aren't sent until the course is published", but the course IS published, and I can send invitations. New users receive the invitations and can get to the dashboard, but no courses show up for them. Previously enrolled users can access the course, no problem.

Hi, pmillett.  @aslwithandrew  is also experiencing this problem so I asked him to join this conversation. Could one of you provide a screenshot or screen recording of what it looks like when you're receiving this error message?

Edit: Have either of you tried unpublishing and republishing your course?

Ah, that is helpful Andrew. I believe that message is not an error message but rather an information message just to let you know in case the course is published. I would think the invitations went out. Have you inquired with the students who are still "Pending"to see if they received the course invitation yet?

Students did check their emails, and the invitations are not showing up in any folder.

I am having this same issue. The class is listed as published, but no students are able to access the course. A returning student seems to have logged in, but it still says pending next to his name. I have already unpublished and republished the course. I've also deleted the new users and re-enrolled them to no avail. The class starts in two weeks! Help!
