Nearpod + Canvas + Prevent skipping?

I frequently use the "prevent skipping" feature on Nearpod lessons. 

However, to get the "prevent skipping" part to work I have to have Canvas open it in a new window instead of being embedded in Canvas (which I don't like anyway because I think it's too small to see and is cluttered there). 

When I do have it open in a new window, it doesn't come through speed grader anymore so I don't get notification when students turned them in and have to remember to check nearpod -- which is a no for me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've never used Nearpod and thus am not familiar with its features. Is it possible for students to copy the URL of a "complete" page or something else in Nearpod that displays their results? If so, could you use the "Website URL" submission type in a Canvas Assignment and ask them to submit that URL from Nearpod so that you can open the page in the Speedgrader?
