Hey @amy_tracy_wells,
This guide is for students, but it shows you a picture of each type of question for New Quizzes. It's also nice to see how the students will view it. Hopefully, this helps!
good post for someone who searches for that topic in the question forum. You might want to add some additional wording to the sentence at the top - or another sentence or two stating that if you are looking for information on the question types for new quizzes, here are links to the Instructor manual pages for the New Quiz question types.
Seeing your title I was ready to respond with what you had posted - or just a single link to the New quiz section of the manual
Ideally, it would be a graphic or table format (e.g., "Essay" 1 response =<500 words; "Fill in the Blank" 1 response =<100 words; "Matching" 1 to 10 responses that text- or graphic based and permit...).

Hi @amy_tracy_wells -
Are you looking for a graphic/table that summarizes the types of quiz questions that could be used as an additional resource as you build in New Quizzes OR are you sharing the summary of the lessons available in the Community? I've read this thread a few times, and I can see how it can be read either way. Let the Community know, and we'll move forward from there. 🙂
Yes, I am looking for a graphic/table that summarizes the types of quiz questions so that as an instructor, I can understand the universe of question types available for the new quizzes.

Hi @amy_tracy_wells - I shared this idea with our Documentation Specialists, but for now, the Student lesson is the closest resource we can offer.
