New Quizzes options unavailable

Hi 

Im trying to set up "hot spot" quizzes but the option is -grayed- out (or better say redded out)

How can I enable them?

@FranciscoTovar From the Feature Options page, you should be able to click that red x in a circle and then choose Enabled to turn on New Quizzes (which has Hot Spot questions).

Thanks for your answer!  That's exactly my question. Im unable to click on that Red X. It is sort of grayed out and Im not able to click on it. Any clues?

Sorry for the confusion. If that is not clickable, your institution has disabled New Quizzes and locked the permission. You will need to reach out to your Canvas admin to discuss having New Quizzes enabled or at least unlocked.

Im in the free version, I dont have institution. The question would be then, how can I enable these quizzes in the free version? Thanks

Unfortunately, per the FAQ comparison chart linked on this page, the New Quizzes interface is not available within the Free For Teacher environment.
