Not getting badges for liking posts!

Im not getting badges for liking posts but i have 61 total times i have lied posts, i don't know if someone manually has to do this or if its automatic and its not working the picture is proof  that i have liked 61 times.

Indeed, that may be a bug. I have received 2 likes and given 1, and my profile only lists 2 in "Give or receive 3 likes":

Hopefully, Instructure will give this issue the attention it deserves.

Hi @Gabriel33 that's a good callout. Because of a platform limitation for this site, this is an either/or situation for that checkbox. It can only track the greater number of either giving or receiving likes. We don't have a way to add those two together, so once you receive one more like or give 2 more likes, that will be checked on your profile.

That's fair, so it's a different "issue" than the original poster's, thank you for explaining.

Hi @AnthonyVargas1! The badge for Likes is for receiving likes, not giving them. We want to encourage users to post helpful and high quality content that earns likes from other community members. We want to encourage quality content rather than rewarding members for handing out likes to everything. However, some of our wording about this badge was vague and has now been corrected.
