Notification to Students for "Assign To" Feature in Pages

Hello all,

I usually send out an announcement at the start of each week for my students. It details the agenda and assignments and keeps them on track. However, I also have a page in each module that does this. If I use the "assign to" feature, will this send the students a notification just like an announcement? Hoping I can use this to streamline my process.

Hi @AllisonLassiter !

Using the assign-to feature with pages alone does not send a notification to students that have been assigned that specific page. However, if you click on the check box that says Add to Student To-Do in the Page's settings, then only students that have been assigned that page will have access to see that on their to-do list, and access to the page itself. Other students will not get that alert in their to-do.
