The possibility of sending notifications to students, for example, who are below the average would be very useful
Love this idea. Notification if grades are below average, or who have a certain number of missed assignments. As long as we can filter out courses that don't have assignments; we have face to face courses with Canvas shells with only supplemental material.

Thanks for the suggestion! Just to clarify -- would that notification to student come from admin? instructor? or other?
That's a good question, @carlycurran. I can't say, it might have more weight coming from the teacher, but other early warning systems are used by specific people, like advisors, program managers or instructors.. This is a little more awkward because only Canvas Admins have access to these analytics and would be the ones to trigger notifications. If this could become a feature, there would need to be some discussion about it.
For us, the advisors would be the best people to review the information and potentially act on it, but advisors will not have Admin access in Canvas. I'd like to be able to save specific queries that could be set to run on a schedule and email just those results to a particular person/address.
For our institution, it would be from the admins.
